The Sentex Systems SW2000 Swing Gate Operator is the right choice for gated entrances requiring an inward or outward motion. It supports gate lengths of up to 18 feet long and weighing up to 800 pounds, and includes a host of advanced operational and safety features.

The rugged design includes1/4" cold-rolled steel with zinc plating, a 1/2 hp motor, temperature resistant gearbox, and a super-tough spin molded ABS plastic housing. The SW2000 is the only swing operator to automatically initiate a telephone call to a pager or the Gate Operator (SGO) Windows software based on a fault condition or predetermined maintenance needs. The gate identification and the fault condition, such as maximum run time exceeded or specific amount of open/close cycles, is reported so the appropriate unit can be serviced as quickly as possible. With this advanced feature the call goes directly to the servicing company.

The SW2000 comes standard with dynamic braking, tailgate suppression, intelligent obstruction sensing, and a warning relay for gate movement. We also offer many quality accessories that help in preventing injuries associated with gate operations. Safety devices such as gate edges, visual-warning systems, roller guards, loop detectors, and photoelectric motion sensors, in conjunction with a well-planned installation, all help to reduce potential risk.

The SW2000 is provided with intelligent obstruction sensing. The operator can be programmed to suspend operation immediately if it hits something, or try to continue its operation up to two additional times before suspending operation. The SW2000 has one sensitivity adjustment for detecting gate obstruction during opening and a separate adjustment for detecting obstruction during closing. The operator stops then backs up by a pre-programmed distance, releasing pressure on the obstruction. This feature also allows the installer to make allowances for gates that may not be traveling on a level surface.

The SW490 electronic swing gate is engineered for heavy-duty applications where the gate is up to 22 feet long and weighs as much as 1000 pounds. To ensure excellent performance and long life, the SW490 comes with a high starting torque motor. The SW490 is recommended for duty cycles of 20 per hour.

This unit boasts a rugged design with the application of a harmonic gate arm, heavy duty oil-in-bath worm gear reducer and a pre-galvanized steel weatherproof enclosure.
